sorta lazy stitcher

Natalie  says that thread for hand-sewing should never be longer than from your finger tips to your elbow.

Long thread - Lazy girl she says.

I measure from my fingers to my elbow twice. (This is acceptable when doubling thread)

And then, 

before cutting the thread,

I unwind just one more round from the spool.

I guess that means I am a sorta lazy stitcher.
