It's official;

nuts.
Nuts for a dark walnut stain,
that is.
So
when we couldn't find a stain locally
that will work with the tung oil finish we want to use,
we set about making our own.
Have we reached a new level of crazy??
(I'll let ya know....)
That's awesome to make your own walnut stain!?! hmmmm... I don't think I'll tell the hubster about this one, or he might want to try it too ; )
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh I am showing my husband this; we curse all the black walnuts in our yard from the neighbours' humongous trees, as well as their toxicity to most plants, but I do love the black walnut stain, but MAKING OUR OWN??!! Too cool!! Will be watching to see how you do...read the post after this one, love that floor in your bathroom!
