I figure I spent about 15 1/2 lovely hours
and about 1/2 not-so-lovely hour
on my California Dreamin' quilt
Lexi loves it almost as much as I do
you know I can't leave the back alone;
I've got to add a little surprise
I entered this in the Spring Bloggers' Quilt Festival
here, on my 'bragging blog'
if you want to see a few more pictures
Unbelievable!!! So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors! Looks amazing! And I'm curious as to the not lovely 1/2 hour! :)
ReplyDeleteoh - I forgot to link to that one....
ReplyDeleteI spent a good hour and a half (at various times) with my seam ripper. I didn't mind so much at first ~ but I was getting pretty irritated with myself towards the end....
and - TWO different times, I sewed for several minutes with NO bobbin thread ~ a nice long string of UN-sewn pieces....
This is gorgeous!! And these photos are adorable--so sweet!!
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is a ray of sunshine! I loved seeing it the other day and seeing the surprise on the back. What a great eye you have for colors, but when I saw it the other day, I had no idea there was a special hidden message on your quilt! I would have searched until I had found it if you had just hinted! I LOVE IT! I think I'm going to buy one of those special feet you were telling me about. Wow!
ReplyDeleteI adore your quilt! The colors sing against the white. The baby is cute too. LOL
