we just got a letter

From Sam!!

I'm so excited!

I was excited just to get the letter

but when I realized it was written by his own hand,

I could have cried.

He knows English!

We can communicate - really communicate.

He calls us Uncle and Aunty.

I love it!

I don't have a clue why I love this young man,

but I do. Fiercely.

I realized recently

that Tyler loves Marcos the way I love Sam.

How could I not pursue him coming to us??

When we first started the paperwork

I'm ashamed to admit - it was just about doing the right thing.

but now

I am getting very anxious for him to get here.

Now, 

if I could only figure out a way to get Sam here, too....
